Traditions of Kanaloa in Hawaiʻi and beyond.
In this workshop, we will dive into the Kanaloa and connections to some of Hawaiʻiʻs most ancient "people."
Here are some of the topics we will discuss :
- Kanaloa and a Hawaiʻi perspective
- Kanaloa and parts of Oceania
- One (1) chant that relates to Kanaloa in Hawaiʻi
Those in attendance will receive :

Summer Solstice: Ke ao Polohiwa a Kāne
Summer Solstice - Ke ao Polohiwa a Kāne. Come explore the form of Kāne, as we celebrate the cycle of the sunʻs path.
In this online Zoom workshop, we will explore the very essence of the Kāne.
If youʻve ever wanted to learn:
-The summer solstice through a Hawaiʻi perspective
-The connection of Kāne in the form of the sun and how to cultivate a better understanding of time and space according to the solar movement in the sky.
-Or just curious about the Hawaiʻi environment...then this workshop is just for you.
In this 2 and a half hour workshop you will learn:
-two (2) chants that can be used during the solstice and any time with one chant audio download.
-Kāʻao or ancient stories of Kāne that can bring perspective to the NOW.
-Ke ao polohiwa a Kāne journal (pdf downlaod)
and
-Lesson on traditions of Hawaiʻi in reference to the movement of the sun and itʻs use for anyone today.
